Poem Share: Children Learn What They Live

I am sharing this poem. I have loved it ever since I was a child, and spent lots of time in front of the framed poem contemplating the meaning of some things that at the younger age I didn't quite understood. Seriously, I do did that.  This Poem taught me the huge responsibility in raising a child - and in the importance of how you speak to and treat ANYONE.
I did not want to perpetuate the negative in the world- and held a whole new respect for the little souls that we mold and create everytime we interact with them. Just Love them and spend time with them.

Anyway, I am sharing it, because it is one of my favourites.

Children Learn What They Live

If a child lives with Criticism,
He learns to condemn.
If a child lives with Hostility,
He learns to fight.
If a child lives with Ridicule,
He learns to be Shy.
If a child lives with shame,
He learns to feel guilty.

If a child lives with tolerance,
He learns to be patient.
If a child lives with encouragement,
He learns confidence,
If a Child lives with praise,
He learns to appreciate.
If a child lives with fairness,
He learns Justice.
If a child lives with security,
He learns to have faith,
If a child lives with Approval,
He learns to like himself.
If a child lives with acceptance and friendship;
He learns to find love in the world.
