I am stunned.
Everyday, I see something that leaves me speechless in the area of customer service.
I want you to stop, and think about a time where you went to ask someone for help in the field of their expertise, and instead of getting help or justice, you were treated with disrespect, judged, ignored, brushedoff, mislead or lied to, just because they decided you were inconveniencing them, or they did not want to invest time to find the answer or simply could not be bothered.
How did you feel? How did it affect your view or trust in the business? Did you share your experience to others? Of course!
Now to be fair- I have worked in the service industry, and I have seen my share of unbelievable, childish, unrealistic expectations, embarrassing and incoherant screaming fits, uncalled for and ignorant insults and down right foot stomping tantrums. Some people of the public seem to think that public service workers are there to be abused and have aggressions and frustrations taken out on. There is not doubt that you see the worst of human behaviour.
One thing I suggest is to not let it get to you, and Remember that a person may have just had a bad experience just before they talked to you. You NEVER know what situation might have crossed a person's path just before their path has crossed yours.
Sometimes taking a moment to ask if they are ok- or find out what is really bugging them, can help calm them.
I have seen where no amount of calming even tones, common sense or logic,- not even addressing their emotional side works- because they just need to be right, or need to bully people, or even get attention.
No amount of compassion or consideration for what that person might have experienced to have set them off - or made their day so unbearable that they need to take it out on everybody.
Those are the days that Those in the Customer Service Industry earn their raises and several merit badges.
Having said that- and considering the two sides of the same coin,.. It is important to ask a question.
WHERE DOES IT END?
THIS just perpetuates a cycle of negativity and meanness in the world, and if we let it suck us into the anger- we end up spreading and becomeing the very thing we hate and were offended by.
It is important to be the one to stop the cycle. Make the conscious choice to stop it and change it. Transmute the negativity and send out a positive energy instead.
Now as a someone who works in the service industry who swears that they are dedicated to help people everywhere, only to have them scoff and brush off someone who is being 'shanghai'd' by different by another branch of the same tree.
Seriously? where is your integrity?
Does that not infuriate you that someone is giving your professional industry a bad name?
For someone who was devasted when a serious issue was on their OWN plate, only to experience being brushed off and taken lightly. How did you feel when you were scoffed at during your plight- that ended in shaking you to the core and leaving you to savour the bitter taste of dissappointment and disillusionment of your hopes and dreams.
Have you forgotten your anger at being dismissed? Or having your trust shattered?.. - ONLY TO GO AND DO the same thing in a different arena and context TO SOMEONE ELSE?
WOW. seriously? If I come to you and call you on it- will you listen? Past experience tells me not.
How can I follow somone like that? Should I follow someone like that?
So , the next time you get frustrated with someone- or want to judge them, put yourself in their shoes- and see if there is something familiar about what you feel. Make sure that the experience you are brushing off or judging , is not the universe sending you the experience from the other side of the coin.
So next time someone treats you like crap- stop and think what you might have done to have karma pay you back.
"WHAT YOU DO UNTO OTHERS, YOU DO UNTO ME"
THINK ABOUT IT.

People that have been hung out to dry by the system- are doing the same to others. they are becoming the the very system that treated them unfairly.
It's about sharing ideas, experiences and insights- to learn and grow and evolve. I want to learn, understand, and to trust my heart to guide me on this Journey.

Struggling with going smoke free
A message to all those that are in the process of quitting smoking. I am familiar with the moments of temptation and weakness, and fighting the constant urges. It doesn't matter if you have only gone a minute- a day or a week of being smoke free. Every moment is a triumph- a step forward- a win. CHanging a habit is not easy- and the struggle builds you and makes you a stronger more confident person.
You have come this far- don't give in to the temptation! At this point, and with every day that passes- You are more and more in control of your health, your time, and your life. The minute you give in to the temptation- you give up the control. You are getting stronger and stronger, and more powerful with each passing minute- day and week.... GO THE DISTANCE!!!
I know you can do it!!

The best expression of LOVE?
| "LOVE is taking the time to learn the song within the heart of your beloved, and reminding them of their song when they have forgotten the words or tune." - Anonymous |
I am not sure why, but i am feeling the need to talk about the most valuable way to show someone that you love them.
It is something you do, that helps to put a person at ease, builds trust, helps a person feel good about themselves, builds a childs self confidence, and sense of value, gives everyone a sense of being appreciated, loved and special, as well as helps to eliminates fears and insecurities- Just to name a few benefits.
I am not talking about buying gifts, jewels, toys, drinks, books, clothes, cars or money.
Spending money on someone will always be appreciated- but believe it or not - it does not carry any real value.
I am talking about spending TIME with someone.
TIME, Is the most powerful gift you can give to someone- your time. This is huge.
WHY is your time so valuable?
WELL, let's compare the two. First, most things you can buy with money, means it can be lost, damaged or stolen.
On the other hand, when you spend TIME with someone you are creating moments, closeness, communication and a bond with someone. That type of contact has value- because whenever you dedicate time to something you are holding it in high regard and appreciation.
Think about it. If you were in a situation where you were put in a painful situation- you would choose not to stay in that environment very long. why? because we tend to spend time doing things we enjoy. People tend to focus their free time doing things that are enjoyable, fun and a positive experience.
So what better compliment or message could you get when someone enjoys your presence and spending time with you? Simply because in that moment they are making you their priority!
That is why kids who have parents that dedicate spending time with them, have a healthy self esteem because they see the proof that their parents hold them as a priority. Anyone would feel valued and treasured because someone dedicated time to spend with them.
Usually when you are spending time with someone you care about you are creating moments in which you learn about each other and learn to appreciate each other more.
Those moments that inspire laughter, conversation, heartfelt talks, appreciation, love, and all sorts of positive feedback- those are priceless moments that NO ONE can take away from you. they become part of you and are always present.
TIME is more valuable- because it creates the most valuable moments that help us communicate, express views, find joyful moments, vulnerable moments, share perspectives and so much more that help us learn , connect and grow as a person.
We also have to be carefull that who ever we spend time with- that we are going to get a positive experience for both parties involved. Never let anyone disrespect you- or treat you bad. Your time is just as valuable and so it is important to make sure that the time you invest is invested in something that benefits you and everyone involved - in a positive or growth inducing way.
The minute you show someone that you will allow them to disrespect your time- they will continue to take your time in order to invest in negative influences. Remember you have the right to spend your time in the way you see fit. Don't give your time away, unless you or someone can benefit.
Value your time- because it is priceless, adn fleeting. Valuing your time will show people that you deserve respect and appreciation.
Any thoughts??
all the best in love and Positive energy,..

Finding my Voice.
This Blog is a step for me, towards finding my voice. It is a step in helping me be all that I can be- and learning what my potential is. This is exciting.
I have recently started to realize how much I have to offer and give to the world. I have so much to share- and it is time to speak up and share it. Also, the realization and understanding, has also made it very clear that people will judge what I say, and i may be successful at expressing and sharign what I feel i must share.
One major realization i came to was that the Judgement and the success I experience CAN NOT be measured by anyone else's criteria. Outsiders will never have all the facts or details as to what is going on, and to take other's opinions' into account when looking at whether i am doing the right thing, is such a flawed way of looking at things.
THIS IS WHY we must follow our hearts. Our Hearts know the truth, the details and the intention and effort we put into everthing we do.
Other people only see a fraction of the facts or details. So how is it that we give such importance to the opinion of the public or strangers?
We can seek the advice or perspective of those we love and respect- because they see and understand us a little more than the eaverage person- but even our loved ones will only have slightly more details or insight. Even so- those we respect can provide a different perspective closer to the truth than sometimes we can see- or want to see.
Ultimately, our heart- if you are in touch and connected to your heart- will guide you - always- on the right path.
I spent many years just observing people and nature- and learning alot about interactions. the funny thing is that I can stand as an outsider and be able to see things so clearly about the dynamics of the relationships and energy of the interactions I am observing,.. however when I am a part of the dynamics, i tend to lose that perspective.
The point is, I spent most of my life watching, being part of the background or working behind the scenes, so as not to be noticed, because i was afraid of failure,.. and i wanted to avoid failing. the problem with avoiding falilure- is that you take yourself right out of the whole experience of life. So to be frank, I lost alot of time because I was afraid of failing.
I have come to realize, because of WFG, that failure is simply a step towards success. You have to experience failure to be able to learn how NOT to do it the next time around.
When Eddison was asked how he felt about having failed 10,000 times before being success ful, he simply replied :" I didn't fail, i just found 10,000 ways it did not work". (if memory serves)
Anyway, in the past, i was afraid to speak up, and be noticed. One thing about being noticed is that you subject yourself to being judged. Being Judged is something else I avoided at all costs.
At this popint in my life- I amd trusting and following the guidance of my heart- and sharing what I feel needs to be said. Whether people accept my words or not - does not matter- because my goal is to help people, and if what |I share can help at least one person, or open a new perspective- then I have been successfull.
Communication is important- and realizing we are all just finding and learning our way as we go, helps us realize that we are exactly where we need to be- and everything is there to help us learn.
Always look for the lesson in whatever situation you are in- and learn from the experience- because if you do- you will never be a failure.
Here is to experiencing life!

Evolving the SELF
This is a topic that has been bubbling beneath the surface for some time now. and i wanted to share the insights that have come forth and grown my understanding if the opportinity that comes in every struggle and challenge we face.
I am part of a revolutionary company that believes and encourages self development on every level of our being. Along with the business aspect, the process of growing in the business involves a process and series of challenges that create an effective environment for self evolving.
From the get go, I recognized the potential for growth in this company, both in business, personally and spiritually. I KNEW with every cell in my being that this was exactly what I was looking for- and I felt the fear of the challenges and steps i would need to take to make the changes i wanted to make to get to where I knew I am supposed to be and fulfill my purpose as a person and spiritual being.
I also recognized that the fear i felt was strictly ego- that part of yourself that fights any changes in life that take you out of your comfort zone. The confort zone is the danger zone because it breeds stagnation and regret and bitterness and depression- among other negative emotions.
It has taken me a while to break through my fear and my comfort zone- but I am taking the steps to do it, and i move forward. I am seeing things more clearly,.. and am amazed that I did not see it sooner.
I also understand that you will only see or understand something when you are open to it
In order to be open to something new- you have to get rid of - or push through your blockages- and theses are the very things that hold us in our confortable place- and keep us unwilling to experience the discomfort.
We have to consiously push ourselves to do what scares us- or things we don't like to do. Only this way can dissolve the blockages that hold us back- because only then we see that our fears were actualy unfounded.
Even now- as I write this I know there are many things i still need to face- and it scares me. That is the Honest truth.
But I also recognize an even more important truth:
LIFE IS CHANGE..CHANGE IS LIFE. That statement is a classic but holds the test of truth and time. It is essential to always be changing, growing , moving forward and upward. The minute something stops changing, it starts dying.
How many people in the world today are sedating themselves in alcohol or drugs, or feeling like the walking dead, just going through the motions of daily life with no sign of purpose, hope or spark of life?
OK, I am getting ahead of myself. I am fired up and excited, i have recently come to a realization of the important and amazing opportunity i have been given in this business.
I have learned to be thankful for the challenges I face, and to ask the question- "what is the lesson for me in THIS challenge?"
Every challenge is there to give you the opportunity to step up and be the best you can be- to show your true self and best self. The question is- how many of us stand up and take that challenge?
the truth is- not many.
Only those faced with no other options, and their back up against a wall who have kept their values intact- find the strength and power within.
Challenges are a gift- to step up and bring out the best within. it is often a rough road, and it is hugely uncomfortable and sometimes excruciating.
The crucial point in anyone's life that defines who they are, and who they will become , depends on how they handle a challenge, pull ahead, rise above- and whether or not others suffer as a result of their words or actions.
Now,... to be fair- no one is innocent of this,.. everyone has at some point, consciously or unconsciously hurt someone, and if you have learned and corrected the action- then the incident did not go in vain- a lesson was learned.
There have been times that I have acted foolishly- or childishly- and I felt Humiliated by my own actions- ashamed at what I had done- and it felt like the only way out was to disappear, or wish for death to end the humiliation. ( On this note- I want to be clear on one thing- I do not believe in Suicide,.. I believe there is always hope and always a solution- we are just not always in a position to see the solution.) The Challenge was to face my own wrong doing.
I felt and faced the huimiliation, and faced people, apologized, swallowed my pride, and looked for the lesson. I recognized when I am wrong- because the one thing you have to do is be REALand Honest with yourself. It is not an easy thing to do- and sometimes your ego gets in the way- and prevents you from being honest and real with yourself for many years.
The point IS, we all have blind spots and blocks that keep us from seeing the reality of a situation, or taints our perception, and keeps us erroneously biased toward people, ideas, or in one or more areas of life.
These blockages, or limited thoughts or ideas,.. are preventing us from seeing the bigger picture, and/ OR moving to the next level of knowledge; understanding; insight; truth and growth.
There are opportunities that give you the chance to stand up and be the best you. Are you going to be a better you in the next moment- better than you are now? EAch moment is a choice- and each choice takes you closer or farther from the best version of YOU. What choices are you making?
How do you picture the Best VERSION OF YOURSELF? What are you like? what are your skills, talents, passions, achievements?
Building your character, is like building a structure, when you want to build something that lasts- you want to make sure that your use quality materials, to build a foundation, with building solid building blocks such as truth, justice, courage, love, vision, commitment. Every choice and decision - whether towards quality or quantity- will determinbe whether the structure of your character is strong, or prone to collapse.
what material have you used to build the structure that is you?
Are you responsible for your own actions and decisions? Or are other people to blame ?
How often do you challenge yourself- and venture outside your comfort zone?
Do you see challenges as opportunities?
How well do you adapt to changes?]
Have you lost the ability to adapt?
LIFE is Change- change is the ability to adapt. The ability to Adapt is called EVOLUTION. Evolution is crucial to Survival in any environment.
In order to evolve, you have to have a sense of
1) TRUTH
2) Fairness/ Justice/Honor
3) Reflection/Insight/ awareness
4) Courage
5) Love
6) VISION
7) conviction/ commitment
Now, these are of few of the things I can think of , in the moment. Can anyone esle think of others??
It is not always easy to hold all these values- and we always face challenges that test our resolve to live in line with these values- and sometimes we fall victim to the temptations. We must keep practicing until it becomes part of us- and second nature.
all i can say is keep pushing forward and onward- always; and remember this; with the effort comes a sense of achievement, a sense of satisfaction, and a sense of peace- But most importantly- you develop a real sense of who you truly are. That is something no one can take from you.
LIFE is Change- change is the ability to adapt. The ability to Adapt is called EVOLUTION. Evolution is crucial to Survival in any environment.

Pushing past my comfort zone.
Today, I took a step to facing one of my biggest fears;
Public speaking.
The fear of being judged, being exposed, and making mistakes, and simply being vulnerable in front of others, was hard for me.
I had volunteered to do the MC duty at work, and I had been practicing for months, and refining my version of the script we use. Today, when the opportunity presented itself, i took it and did it without thinking.
I started out ok, I was please that the crowd responded to my prompts for interaction. I did hesitate, and forget my place a couple of times, but i pushed my way through it, despite feeling a shaking sensation within. I don't know if it was a shakey voice, a shaking ego, or a deep trembling in my breath - and it almost felt like i could not breathe, and I continued to push through- I was determined to finish what I started.
Apparently, every said I appeared calm on the outside, and I remember a few faces - almost seemed to be counting the points i hit, and the office manager seemed to be like he was on the edge of his seat- about to fall off- expcept for the fact that he was standing. He had his hands clenched in front, and he was leaning forward, and you could see he was rooting for me to do well.
At the end, everyone seemed Impressed, i got a round of applause, and accolades.
I t felt good, and I was releiueved it was over, but proud of myself for having gone through with it.
People even congratulated my Trainer for " having his baby growing up in the business".
Unfortunately, he was the one person that did not say anything to me, or congratulate me. I don't know what his problem or issue is, but it is unfortunate that he reacts that way.
\I wanted to address the emotion that cam up after it was all done and said. Something deep wihtin me felt shaken and grateful for having completed this small feat- and at the same time it brought up some emotions dealing with an old paradigm of thinking in which I tried to stay as invisible as possible in crowds, and avoid standing out. This reaction was unusual and unexpected- yet completely understandable.
Even though the emotion surprised me, I let it come to the surface, and by doing this, i faced it and I allowed it to disipate and release/disolve. This fear lost control of me.
By facing a fear, i pushed through my comfort zone, and realized my fear is not all as serious as I had thought. I feel relief, and eager to face the next fear. By facing my fears one by one, i want to move forward in my life, and get out of the rut that playing it safe and comfy has gotten me in. Each of these fears is something that holds me back from being all that I can be.
I am proud of myself, for taking this step, and pushing through the uncomfortable feeling while doing it, and being determined to get through it and complete the task.
I will be honest, and admit that most of my life I have always played it safe and comfy. In hind sight I can understand why, having been in a victim mentality, and having living in a mire of hurt and disappointment in my life.
However, playing is safe and comfy only gets you stuck in a rut. plain and simple.
When I was presented with the opportunity for this business, I SAW the value and I KNEW that ats scary as it was, This choice was going to get me to where i wanted to go, and reach the goals I wanted to reach.
I am finally beginning to face my fears, and conquer them, and move my life forward. That, for me is a huge accomplishment.
yaaay me!

That, for me is a huge accomplishment.
yaaay me!

Sharing the lessons on my journey for growth
Hi there,
I basically want to share my experiences, insights, and lessons, so that anyone else who finds selves in similar situations. If we can learn from the experience of others, or from history, then we can move and grow faster.
Being observant is key- and everyone in this woerld has something to teach us- the secret is finding the lesson in every situation. This is not an easy thing to do- but once you begin to see that there is a blessing and a positive spin on everything, you can learn to stop repeating unnecessary and destructive patterns, and move to being the best person you can be.
Sometimes i speak from experience, othertimes i can only speculate and put down my thoughts.
For me, the process of writing it down helps me to find clarity. I am far from perfect- and understand that everyone else is. I respect that everyone is on their own journey- and at different levels, and have different opinions and beliefs. If you are willing to respect my opnion, i will respect yours, and we can share ideas- even if we are in disagreement on a topic, let us simply agree to disagree.
I welcome discussions, as long as you are serious about understanding and sharing insights.
let us see where the discussion goes.
